These are the words of an almost 20 something
my life flashing by unknown and untrue
a wolf or a sheep
I feel at once old and anew
my childhood walks and recess
adulthood fails in her place
Possibility endless but determined
to get her I worked but was born
others are unlucky
Advocation for my pain is unfair
scaring away empathy
my ambition is lonely
a world full of almost 20 somethings
so many contradictions
so little earspace
we share an unprecedented space
yet we silence each other.
